Services

The FTS Association continues to evolve as we grow and expand and as awareness is brought to our organization of further needs in the community that we are equipped to meet.  Below are a few programs that are currently availabe, as well as a few we hope to achieve in the near future.

Food Hampers

The Storehouse

Located at the FTS Association's main office in the Nazarene church, the Storehouse offers non- perishables, toiletries, winter gear, and other incidentals that are all either donated or received through a food rescue prgram.

Street Ministry

Street Ministry

For the past two years, our bus of volunteers heads out into the community each Wednesday in search of anyone who may be without or may be struggling with addiction.  We offer each of these individuals a warm meal and a bagged lunch, and - when possible - return to them with a care package from the Storehouse.  We have had the opportunity to develop relationships with some of the individuals who begin to anticipate us the following weeks, and even some who we have been able to support through recovery.

Lunch Program

Wednesday Lunch Program

In addition to our Street Ministry, we also deliver a warm meal once a week to a combination of seniors, low-income individuals, and some struggling with illness.  These meals are prepared at our facility by volunteers each Wednesday morning and delivered by additional volunteers over the noon hour in our marked bus.

Future Soup Kitchen

Drop In Kitchen - Phase 2 Goal

It has always been our main goal at the FTS Association to offer the opportunity for individuals to attend our facility for a warm meal more often than our Wednesday lunch program.  This will require further funding and volunteers but is our intention for the next phase of the organization.

Computer and wifi access

Wifi and Mail Services - Phase 2 Goal

One issue we have seen many face when trying to redirect their lives, is the roadblock of simple things that many of us take for granted.  Some need access to a computer and wifi.  Such individuals will be able to access this at our facility for no cost when regular office hours have been established.  In addition to this, we will also be offering a mail service for those who have no fixed address.  Many people need this in order to receive something as simple as identification or a trusting place to have their income delivered.

Future transitional Services

Transitional Support

Often we have found that those determined to change their lives are easily frustrated with knowing where to begin or where to find the help they need.  At the FTS Association, we have developed relationships with other organizations who are able to assist in different areas.  We offer support to those by giving them direction and coming alongside while they find their way.

We would love to have you on our team!
